Our Ongoing Research & projects

At the Nutrition Council of India, we lead community-based research and public health initiatives focused on improving nutrition, food safety, and preventive healthcare. Our ongoing projects bring health awareness, screenings, and practical nutrition guidance directly to communities, helping families build healthier and stronger futures.

1. Rural Health & Nutrition Survey Project
The Rural Health & Nutrition Survey is a community-focused public health initiative designed to understand the everyday health and nutrition realities of rural population. This project aims to identify common dietary patterns, nutritional gaps, and early signs of health risks so that timely guidance and support can be provided to communities.
The project focuses on:

  • Improving awareness about balanced diets and healthy living

  • Early identification of nutritional deficiencies and chronic disease risks

  • Strengthening access to preventive healthcare services

  • Empowering families with practical nutrition and lifestyle guidance

This project is part of an effort to build healthier rural communities by connecting nutrition, awareness, and accessible healthcare.
