Dehradun: The Nutrition Council of India signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Era University and Government Doon Medical College during the 2nd National Congress on Nutrition and Public Health.
The MoU aims to strengthen collaboration in the field of nutrition and public health, with a strong focus on the advancement of nutrition education, research, and collaborative data analysis. The partnership is expected to promote evidence-based practices and enhance academic and research capacity in nutrition science.
Under the agreement, the institutions will jointly undertake research projects, academic programs, faculty and student exchanges, and data-driven public health initiatives. Special emphasis will be placed on nutrition data analysis to support policy formulation and improve community health outcomes.
Representatives from the participating institutions emphasized that such collaborations are essential for translating scientific research into practical public health solutions. The MoU marks a significant step toward strengthening institutional cooperation in nutrition education and public health research.
